Technogroup Welshpool's amazing recovery ground to a halt against title chasing Cefn Druids last night but Ross Frame fired a hat-trick to give Guilsfield a win at Penrhyncoch.

On Tuesday evening first half goals from Adam Swarbrick and Luke Powell gave Cefn Druids the half time advantage against  Welshpool. Josh Evans reduced the deficit after 73minutes but Druids hung on to take the points that sees them close the gap on second placed Rhyl.

Teenage sensation Ross Frame gave Guilsfield a fifth minute lead from the penalty spot, Penrhyn were level before the break with Mark Egan on target. Three minutes into the second half Mark Davies restored Guilsfield's lead and Frame scored his second to put the Guils in charge only for Stuart Frazer to net Penrhyn's second.

With time running out Frame completed his hat-trick with another penalty to give Guilsdfield a well deserved three points.
