Welshpool impress in the mud

Welshpool returned to winning ways at the weekend with an impressive second half performance to see off a dogged Abergele in Division Two (north).

Following a tremendous effort from the club to get the match played, Welshpool fell behind to a converted try from the visitors.

But second half tries from Matt Roberts, Tom Worthy, Rhys Williams and Ally Evans saw Welshpool through to a 22-7 win, to pull well clear of the bottom two.
