Guilsfield play their final home match of another impressive Huws Gray Alliance season on Saturday, knowing that they must win to stand any chance of pinching third place.
The team currently occupying that spot, Denbigh Town, are the visitors and with Holywell Town away bringing down the curtain, nothing less than six points is required. They can also look forward to the Central Wales Cup final after beating Llanfair United in midweek.
Llanrhaeadr face a frantic run-in but know that the Spar One title is safely within their own making. Three points off leaders Welshpool with six games in hand, it is looking pretty good for Llan who host Kerry this weekend.
Llansantffraid and Builth Wells resume their battle for the Spar Two title with home games, while in the amateur league, the games are coming thick and fast with the battle for both divisions set to go right to the wire, but Forden do still proudly hold a 100% record in the second tier. This weekend they could be playing their first home game in the village since October!
Meanwhile, all of us here at MyTown wish League Secretary, Bernie Jones a full recovery after falling ill this past week.
