Llan step closer to title

22/04/2018 @ 07:57

Llanrhaeadr took a giant step closer to the Spar Mid Wales title with a 5-1 win over Kerry.

The victory, along with leaders Welshpool Town being held at home, has all but handed the title to the villagers who have plenty of games in hand still to play.

In the Huws Gray Alliance, two goals from Asa Hamilton weren’t enough for Guilsfield as they were held 2-2 by Denbigh Town, ending their hopes of a third placed finish. A goal in each half saw Caersws lose 2-0 at home to Holywell.

In the JD Welsh Premier, Newtown eased to a 3-0 win over relegated Prestatyn.
