Crosses win Montgomeryshire Cup

Cup specialists Four Crosses won their second tournament in three days when they lifted the Montgomeryshire Cup last night.

Crosses beat near neighbours Llansantffraid Village 2-1 in a closely fought affair at Llanrhaeadr just two days after beating Waterloo Rovers 3-2 in the Amateur League Cup.

Earlier in the season Mike Barton’s Crosses side suffered defeats in the finals of the Emrys Morgan Cup and the Village Cup.
