A village club with a rich history in local amateur football is looking to reform for the upcoming season.
Llanwddyn have launched a new Twitter page and announced that they will be holding an open training session this weekend to gauge interest.
“Early days, but we are looking at the possibility of getting a team together for the upcoming season,” the club have stated. “We are going to be holding an open training session/game on Saturday, June 30 with a 12 noon start. Everyone is welcome.”
The club folded in 2009, but its village pitch was secured five years ago on a 50-year lease before Severn Trent sold the Lake Vyrnwy estate.
