Youths lift rugby club’s spirits

Welshpool Rugby club’s youth side lifted the club’s spirits yesterday with a magnificent performance to beat Nant-Conwy Youths.

 

The side lost heavily to the same team the previous week but played some entertaining rugby to win 34-24. Ryan Goodwin capped a man-of-the-match performance with a try and there were two each for Tom Davies and Sam Johns. A late try from Liam Jones made the win safe.

 

There was also a conversion apiece for Tom Williams and debutante Harry Roberts.
