High School launches sports drive

Efforts to engage more children with sport have been launched at Welshpool High School this week with an extensive programme of opportunities to play.

Sessions for Hockey, Football, Rugby, Swimming, Table Tennis, Basketball, Badminton, Netball, and even Dancing and Dodgeball are all being organised around the school curriculum in a bid to keep our kids on the move this term.

The activities, organised by the 5x60 team and various PE Clubs are being held during break time and lunch time as well as after school with most of them free of charge to participate.
