Clubs go for upsets

12/10/2018 @ 11:15

Giant killing will be on the minds of several JT Hughes Amateur League clubs when the Central Wales Cup kicks off this weekend.

The opening round sees several amateur league clubs taking on Spar Two opposition with the likes of Forden United, Trewern, Llangedwyn and Llanymynech all out to make their mark.

Meanwhile, Guilsfield and Llanrhaeadr return to Huws Gray Alliance action with away days, but the match of the day sees neighbours Caersws and Llanidloes lock horns, with the latter keen to get their title bid back on track following a shock midweek defeat at home to Kerry.
