It was a day to celebrate for fans of Guilsfield and Llanrhaeadr who both picked up wins on the road in the Huws Gray Alliance.
Guilsfield’s 4-3 win at Denbigh and Llanrhaeadr’s 2-1 win at Ruthin saw them lift into mid-table comfort.
Llanidloes ended the Caersws MMP Mid Wales League early season domination by inflicting their first defeat, and Welshpool maintained their scoring bonanza with a 9-1 win at Tywyn Bryncrug.
In the Central Wales Cup, Trewern claimed the scalp of Mid Wales League side Waterloo Rovers in one of the few games that beat the weather.
