Forden United have continued their remarkable winning league run to join leaders Guilsfield Reserves at the top of the JT Hughes Montgomeryshire Amateur League.

With Guilsfield busy securing their passage in the League Cup with a 5-1 win at Llanymynech, Forden beat Maesyrhandir, 9-1, to maintain their 100% record this season, continuing on from their historic 2017/18 season when they secured the division two title by winning every single league game.

Meifod moved into mid-table with a 5-1 win over Llanfair Reserves.

Newtown Wanderers missed the chance to join the leaders at the top of division two after being held to a 3-3 draw at home by Four Crosses Reserves. Llanfechain closed on the leading pack with a 4-2 win at Abermule.

In the Village Cup, Trefonen beat Llanwddyn 5-3.
