Maddie is the best in Wales

It’s been an incredible 2018 for Welshpool High School pupil Maddie Griffiths (pictured) who appears to have saved her best achievement until last!

The young runner has proved herself to be one of the country’s leading middle and long distance up-and-comers this year and returned home from the Welsh Inter Schools Cross Country in Brecon at the weekend as a Welsh Champion.

But the school’s successful day did not end there, her fellow Maldwyn Harrier Callum Morgan continued his fine form to take third in the U13 boys race.
