With the weather wiping out all of the action in the top flight, it was down to the second division of the JT Hughes Montgomeryshre Amateur League to provide the thrills and spills.
And the division didn’t disappoint with Llanrhaeadr Reserves making themselves firm favourites for the title with a 4-1 win over leaders Welshpool Town Reserves, who remain a point clear but having played five more games.
Trefonen remain in the hunt after edging Llanfechain 1-0, while Waterloo Rovers Reserves trounced Llansantffraid Reserves 5-1. Newtown Wanderers moved into fourth spot with a 2-1 win over Abermule Reserves.
