The 100%’ers

Another of the local league titles was decided last night with Guilsfield Reserves maintaining their 100% season long form to clinch Division One of the JT Hughes Montgomeryshire League.

A 6-0 victory over Llanfair Reserves last night was their 14^th league win since the season began, and ended the slim title hopes of Bishop’s Castle and Forden United.

Manager Mark Lloyd said it had been a “privilege” to have such a strong squad which has given him plenty of strength in depth all season.

“Every single player deserves the credit for the part they have played this season,” said Lloyd, who has two more league games to win if they are to finish the season as ‘Invincibles’.
