Wins for Guilsfield, Llanfair

Guilsfield and Llanfair United have gone through to the second round of the Nathaniel MG Cup as football made an early return.

Goals from Karl Seliaerts, Josh Astley and Ashley Davies saw Llanfair through with a 3-1 win over Llangefni Town who had taken an early lead, while Guilsfield won 3-0 thanks to strikes from Jake Cooke, Stuart Rogers and Jack Richards from his own half.

Berriew missed first half chances and went down 2-0 at home to Corwen, while Llanrhaeadr lost 4-2 at Prestatyn.
