Grace receives Welsh call-up

Great news today for Welshpool's Grace Johns who received an invite from Welsh Womens's Rugby head coach, Rowland Phillips, to join the women's national extended top up programme. 

The purpose of the progarmme is to build momentum from the regional programme, in which Grace played for RGC, the North Wales regional women's team, with a continued focus on skills and fitness.

At the end of September, the Wales Women's management will finalise the Welsh squad. 

Grace currently plays for Caernarfon Women and scored four tries at the weekend in their 120-0 win against Holyhead Women.

We all wish Grace the best of luck and hope she continues to the very top in the game. We also extend our congratulations to the COBRA girls who were also invited to join the programme.
