A round-up of the weekend's rugby action from The Oval Zone's Gary Williams
A super second half comeback, with a try and conversion in the last seconds of the game, gave Welshpool their first league points of the season in a nail biter of a game at Abergele that they won 29-25.
Trailing at the interval 22-12, the Maesydre men upped their game in the second period and the never-say-die attitude was rewarded with a try bonus point win.
Try scorers for Welshpool were Max Cadwallader, Drew Evans, Ryan Goodwin and Nick Morris with Dylan Walton converting two.
Colwyn Bay 57 v Llanidloes 5
More disappointment for Llanidloes who travelled north with a depleted side and have now had over 200 points scored against them in their three away games this season. The Llani boys will be glad of a respite from all this travelling as they look to get back to winning ways.
COBRA 5 v Nant Conwy 40
Despite a dream start, it was visitors Nant Conwy who impressed in this Division One fixture, running in some excellent tries through their backs. The Meifod men were more than a match for Nant in the forwards exchanges, but had no answer to the speed of the Nant backs.
Wrexham v Newtown
Newtown's game at Wrexham was postponed until later in the season as most of the Town squad were on stewarding duties at the Wales GB Rally.
