Guilsfield have announced this evening that Director of Football, Nathan Leonard, has stepped down from his post.

The sought-after young boss is being linked to the vacant Oswestry Town job, which became available after Matt Burton called it quits this weekend.

“We would like to put on record our appreciation of Lenny's commitment, efforts and skills in developing our team over the past years,” the club said in a statement. “We wish Lenny all the very best for the future. The club will make a further announcement in due course.”

Leonard was talked out of stepping down in the summer, and has gone on to mount another impressive looking JD Cymru North campaign.

There is no word of possible candidates, but the club will need to regroup quickly with Flint Town United visiting the village for a league match on Tuesday night.
