Llanrhaeadr march on

22/12/2019 @ 03:13

Llanrhaeadr will remember 2019 as a year they silenced their doubters, and they show no sign of slowing up following a 2-1 win to share third with Colwyn Bay in the JD Cymru North.

Two goals in the opening half hour did the damage, taking the villagers to 32 points after 17 games which is the same total they achieved last season.

There was late drama for Guilsfield at Ruthin where the points were shared. Robbie James scored an extra time equaliser, two minutes after Ruthin thought they had secured the points with a 90th minute penalty.

Llanfair United returned from Penrhyncoch empty handed following a 3-1 defeat.
