Welshpool out to stop runaway leaders

17/01/2020 @ 10:30

Welshpool Town will be out to do the MMP Mid Wales League chasing pack a favour when they travel to runaway leaders Llanidloes Town.

The Daffs are a whopping 13 points clear at the top of the table, and time is slowly running out for rivals to make inroads, but a Welshpool win will throw a lifeline to several clubs hoping for a slip-up.

Elsewhere on Saturday, Guilsfield will be looking for the team to pitch in as they start life without 17-goal hitman Adam Davies, who has been picked up by Aberystwyth Town. They travel to lowly Corwen hoping to hold third place in the JD Cymru North, while Llanrhaeadr, in fourth, have a tough trip to Conwy Borough and bottom side Llanfair United head to Rhyl.
