Double for Van Lill

Marius Van Lill bagged a double at the January Medal played at Lakeside Golf Club.

The nine-handicapper carded the lowest gross score with a brilliant 72, and his 63 nett landed the Division One crown.

Joe Davies was second with another impressive gross of 73 (66) while James Nelson hit an 83 (69) for third spot.Ian Roberts took Division Two with a net 73, followed by Adrian Davies (74) and Peter Philpott (75).

Last week’s Rabbits & Tigers was won by Kieran Harris and James Watkins who combined for a 59, while Will Marston and Joe Davies (62.5) were second with Tony Walton and Peter Coleby (63) were third.
