Potter’s hat-trick!

James Potter had a day to remember when three of his horses won on the same day at two separate meets on Friday.

First up was at the 2.35pm at Doncaster when Exelerator Express, ridden by Sam Twiston-Davies, won at 5/1, followed at the same track by It's Probably Me, ridden by Richard Patrick, which won at 5/4.

Mr Potter hardly had time to recover from his celebrations when Billingsley, ridden by Liam Treadwell, won the 4.55pm at Newbury at 7/2.

It all bodes well for next week when the Welshpool businessman will be sending six runners to the Cheltenham Festival, including Mister Fisher in the Racing Post Arkle Trophy.
