Cobra seek new head coach

Cobra Rugby Club have cast the net to find a new head coach after announcing that Rhodri Jones will step down after five seasons.

The Meifod-based club plays in the Specsavers National League One North and is looking for a new leader with “fresh ideas and someone who shares the same ambition as the club”.

The full advert is on the club’s Facebook page where senior officials have also paid tribute to Jones’s successful tenure.

“The club would like to sincerely thank Rhodri Jones for all of his hard work over the last five seasons,” the club states.

“He has done a great job developing individual players and introduced a style of play that was both attractive to watch and successful. We wish you all the best for the future and hope to see you at Cae Cobra very soon. Diolch Rhodri!”
