Golden girl smashes more records

Welshpool High School pupil Adele Nicoll (right) just seems to go from strength to strength... literally.The youngster competed at the weekend’s North Wales Track & Field Championships in Deeside and returned home with two new games records to accompany her pair of gold medals.
Adele warmed up with a bronze in the hurdles before stunning performances in the Shot and the Discus. Her throw of 12.31m in the Shot broke the Championship record and then a massive throw of 38.46m in the Discus also set a fresh Championship mark and gave her another first.
Adele is ranked number 1 in the UK for both Shot and Discus for her age.
