Town looking for juniors and coaches

Welshpool Town Football Club have launched a recruitment campaign for both players and coaches for their junior section.

The club held their first U7/U8 session this week and said they are hoping to see the numbers swell in the coming weeks, whilst encouraging parents and aspiring coaches to join.

“The U7/8 train at the football club on Mondays from 6 to 7pm. Our aim is to provide fun and safe sessions, and maybe develop a superstar along the way,” the club stated.

Monday night also saw the Women’s training session from 7-8pm with a good turnout. If you would like to join, email Paul Chilton on thechilton4@btinternet.com.

All training sessions are delivered by qualified staff under the guidance of coaching coordinator Gareth Watkins (pictured).
