A 79th minute goal from Josh Lenc was enough to get Welshpool Town’s season back on track.
Pool have had a poor start to their Lock Stock Ardal North East League campaign and with high-flying Bow Street in town things were not looking too good. But despite selection problems Pool took all three points thanks to Lenc’s strike.
The game was also marked with a first team debut for young Harvey Gill who came on as a 47th minute substitute.
Berriew lost a nine-goal thriller at Corwen while Llanfair won 4-2 at Four Croosses.
There was disappointment in the JD Cymru North for top-of-the -table Guilsfield who were held to a 2-2 home draw with Penrhyncoch.
Iwan Matthews gave Guilsfield an early lead but Penrhyn replied through Gittins and Burrell leaving the home side needing a 76th minute equaliser from Hyne.
