It was a day to remember for Welshpool Town striker Ryan Knott in the Lock Stock Ardal North East League yesterday.
Knott netted all four goals as Pool trounced Penparcau 4-0 at The Maesydre Recreation Ground.
He gave Pool the ideal start with a first minute goal and added a second in the ninth minute. He completed a miserable afternoon for the visitors by netting again in the 50th and 55th minutes.
Berriew won 4-1 at Bow Street thanks to goals from Joe Haycock (2), Craig Pearce and Jamie Davies despite playing the last 30 minutes with 10 men following a red card for Jonathan Jones.
Waterloo Rovers also enjoyed victory in the MMP Mid Wales League East, winning 3-0 at Churchstoke thanks to goals from Jake Mantell, Shaun Roberts and a Jamie Salisbury own goal.
