Adele “nervous” ahead of World Cup
Adele will be joining Team DHL pilot Mica McNeill for the second time in the two-woman event from 7am our time, with the pair hoping to make an impression on the sixth round of the series being held in Sigulda, Latvia.
Adele has been training hard with Mica over the winter months and told us tonight from the team hotel: “I’m nervous, but excited to see what we can do. It's hard to have expectations in a sport with so many variables but I'm confident we can produce a solid performance.”
It was a memorable 2021 for Adele who smashed her own shot putt record and transitioned brilliantly to the sport of bobsleigh to keep her hopes of competing at both the Commonwealth Games and Winter Olympics this year alive.
