Three new signings will be in the Technogroup Welshpool side at Rhayader today while Guilsfield are at home to Connah's Quay Nomads in the Huws Gray League.

Pool manager Graham Evans has continued his building exercise by bringing in three new faces.

Striker Mark Lunt joins from Llangollen Town having also turned out for Colwyn Bay and Caersws in recent seasons and former Guilsfield and Caersws defender Chris Smout adds experience to the ranks and joins from Ellesmere Rangers

Also joining the Lilywhites is winger Dan Tolley from Presteigne but Evans failed in a bid to persuade Newtown to release defender Robbie James.

Guilsfield face a real test of their abilities with Connah's Quay  the opposition for the first home game for the villagers this season and will be without the injured Gareth Jones.

Barton expectes a difficult time. "Connah's Quay will be one of the strongerst sides in the league," he said. "They were very unlucky not to gauin a Super 12 place and will be up there near the top of this league."
