Setback for Waterloo Rovers

Waterloo 's early season promise suffered a big setback at Llansantffraid Village last night as Rovers crashed 6-2.

After a shaky start to the season Ray Jones is starting to get to grips with life in the Spar Mid Wales League and this win could prove just the boost his side needs before Saturday's trip to Tywyn/Bryncrug to build on their jump into fifth place.

Berriew were making use of their newly installed floodlights but couldn't find the net in the heavy rain. They fought out a goalless draw with Chris Roberts' Dyffryn Banw.

Llanidloes continued to impress, seeing off Bow Street 5-0, while Carno came back from Presteigne 4-2 winners.
