Junior Rugby thriving at Welshpool

The future looks bright for rugby in Welshpool with coaching now available for kids from under 8’s right up to Under 16’s.
While the first team’s results are not going to plan so far this season, the club has put added emphasis on the sport’s future with dozens of youngsters taking advantage of the increased sessions for all ages.
Welshpool are now running the following junior sides this season and more players are welcome to attend, regardless of experience:
Year 3 (Under 8's) - Tuesdays at 6pm
Years 4-6 (Under 9-11s) - Tuesday at 6pm
Under 12s - Monday at 6pm
Under 14s - Monday at 6pm
Under 16s - Monday at 6pm
A spokesperson added: “We are also having women's training on Wednesdays at 7pm, Youths on Wednesdays at 7pm and Seniors on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7pm.”
