Local youngsters in N.Wales rugby squad

Six local youngsters were in the North Wales Under-15 rugby squad beaten 15-10 by Newport Schools yesterday.

Richard Roberts, Dewi Bowen, Harry Jukes and Will Mackraeth all of Llanfyllin High School were joined by Tom Williams of Welshpool High School and Tom Astbury of Caereinion High.

North Wales can feel proud of their commitment but frustrated that they didn’t come away with a win. The North Wales side were dominant in most areas but were guilty of lacking composure in vital areas of the field.
