Mixed fortunes for rugby clubs

There were contrasting fortunes for our local rugby clubs, but both appear to be safe from relegation.

Cobra took care of business with a 15-3 win at bottom side Bro Ffestiniog in Division One (North).

The victory was their second on the bounce and eases them away from the bottom three who are looking stranded.

Welshpool have taken root in mid-table of Division Three (North).

Their inconsistent season continued with a defeat at home to Bangor who returned to North Wales with a 20-7 verdict.
