Ashley wins darts title again

The Westwood’s Gareth Ashley took Welshpool Darts League individual title for the second time in three years. 

Ashley went one down to Welsh International Neil Astley in the final but fought back to take the second and final third leg. 

The semi-finalists, and last year’s winner, Mitch Butler and Kacey Jones were also in good form but Ashley saw off all comers to take the top trophy of the season.

In the Guinness consolation cup final the Kings Head beat the Red Lion Llanfair at the Talbot to take the trophy for the third time in a row.
