Watkins gets third place again

Welshpool rally driver James Watkins secured another third in class in yesterday's West Wales Rally Spares Christmas Stages at Pembrey Race Circuit .

He completes 2010 with six starts, six finishes and three podium places.

And the Rally Marketing of Welshpool man says he owes it all to his backers Makefast Rally Marketing and Geoff Jones Motorsport for providing him with a competitive car.

"I had two massive spins and admit to closing my eyes and hoping for the best," he said after finishing 34th overall.
