A similar entry of Otm cows this week topping at £1105.68 for a 813kg Limousin cow from WG & DE Woosnam, Upper Gwestydd. W L Hamer, The Bryn, presented a 763kg Limousin cow making £1045.31. cows 48 to 72 months topped at £1127.26 from CV & EM Lewis, Buttington New Hall, for a Limousin weighing 718kg. An Aberdeen Angus steer weighing in at 851kg from DB Davies & Son, Pencastle, made £1131.83.

CULL SHEEP (2139)
A good entry of cull sheep this week seeing averages of £43.82 for ewes and £81.14 for rams. Ewes topped at £122 from C E Pryce, Yr Helyg. M Jones, Cae Pwll, presented ewes making £103. Rams topped at £120 from O T Evans, Delfryn. £114 for the next top price for rams from M J Williams, Pontyperson.
STORE LAMBS (760)
A smaller entry of store lambs this week of 760, selling to a top of £74.50for a pen of 16 wether lambs from H J Marsh & Sons, Stokesay Castle Farm. Theave lambs topped at £66 for Texel x lambs from P & C Marsh, Glyn Farm. And 30 Texel x theave lambs from DB & EFJ Gethin, Dolyrheol, also made £66. Mixed and clean lambs topped at £63 from M Jones, Cae Pwll. Tup lambs topped at £64 for 10 mule lambs from R Evans & Partners, Hafodyfoel.

COWS & CALVES
AN entry of 24 cows and calves this week topping at £2420 for a pedigree Limousin 1st calver with her Limousin heifer calf from R I Owen & Co, Cwmfynnon. A similar outfit from the same home made £2320. M R Williams, Wern Holding, presented a Limousin x 1st calver with a Limousin bull calf making £1900. DP & RE Evans, Moel-y-Garth Farm, presented a Limousin x 2nd calver with a Limousin heifer calf making £1900. A breakdown of all prices achieved were as follows: £2000 + 5 lots, £1800 - £2000 5 lots, £1600 – £1800 4 lots, £1400 - £1600 1 lot, £1200 - £1400 4 lots, £1000 - £1200 1 lot, <£1000 6 lots.
