HR Apprentice

U79, Newtown, Powys, UK

Role Overview: The HR Apprentice will initially provide administrative support to the HR Teams, learning from experienced, professionally trained colleagues whilst working towards a relevant, recognised qualification. The fast-paced nature of this role means that no day is ever the same. As the post holder grows in the role they will gain knowledge of employment law and training methods.

The successful candidate’s main responsibilities will include:

. Work alongside the HR Administrator to assist with daily tasks & projects maintaining strict confidentiality at all times.

. Assist in the recruitment process, sending acknowledgement letters to candidates, arranging interviews visa telephone or email and confirming details via letter.

. Monitor and record PDR completion.

. Prepare new starter packs.

. Prepare and regularly audit personnel files.

. Data entry is completed to an accurate and high standard.

. Ensure there are adequate stocks of policies and forms available for our employees to use.

. Schedule training, sending invites and booking training rooms as required.

. Provide general administration support.

Qualifications, Experience and Profile:

. A good knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

. GCSE level education.

. Drive and commitment to work towards a higher-level qualification.

. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

. Willingness and ability to take ownership and responsibility.

. Professional with the ability to develop working relationships across all levels.
