Local business doubles-up at Wedding Awards
TMS Events celebrated in Swansea over the weekend after receiving the Best Florist and Best Wedding Stylist, for the fourth year running.
The business delivers services to over 200 weddings a year and since it was established in 2007 it has gone from strength to strength being recognised as one of the largest of its kind in the UK.
Offering everything from floral design and event styling the company even offers furniture hire and prop hire.
Director Tammy Weaver said: “Covid hit our sector really hard and we still aren’t out of the woods yet, with a reduced number of engagements due to people not meeting through Covid the next couple of years may potentially see our industry hit again, but we’ve come through it bigger and better than ever and if we can do that we can do anything!
“The awards recognise the sheer magnitude of what we achieve each year and it’s wonderful to celebrate our success along with so many others at the end of the year.”
The firm employs eight members of staff and has a head office with over 10,000 square feet of wedding and event hire pieces, thought to be one of its kind in the UK.
Tammy added: “We are so looking forward to 2024 with over 120 bookings already in our diary and a huge new list of new props and offerings it’s always been important to be a driver in offering the latest in up to date trends, the awards help to promote our business massively each year and we are utterly thrilled to win!”
World renowned bridal gown designer David Emanuel was the event host with almost 600 wedding industry professionals in attendance at at Brangwyn Hall, Swansea.
