Warren Sinden will face experienced south paw Rick Boulter in his next professional fight at Birmingham’s HMV Institute on September 13.
The 24-year-old will be making his third appearance in the professional ring, and this next fight comes hot on the heels of his last bout when he dazzled a large travelling army on his way to a points win over Zimbabwe’s Disney Huni.
But Boulter, 34, presents a different proposition and as a result, Sinden has been travelling the country to face sparring partners that will prepare him for another tough test.
“I’ve been training in Birmingham but sparring in Cardiff and I will also be sparring next week in Sheffield,” said Sinden. “I have also been doing strength and conditioning with Chris Greatorex at The Armoury three times a week so I want to thank him for helping to get me into great shape for this fight.
“Rick is going to be a tough opponent and has plenty of experience. I need to respect that and train hard. I am at the start of what I hope will be a long journey so it is about getting more tough rounds under my belt and continuing to impress.”
Boulter stands at 5’11’’ and has boxed 185 professional rounds in his career and is based out of Lincoln.
‘Big Rig’, as Sinden is known, expects another big following for the fight after more than 160 supporters travelled to his last bout. Tickets are available in Corals and at The Armoury and a bus will be run once again from Welshpool, but places must be pre-booked at Corals. Tickets start from £25 while the bus is £10 return.
