Berriew Street Car Park’s toilet block is up for auction ‘early in 2026’.
The property was adopted from Powys County Council by Welshpool Town Council a decade back, but it closed after becoming expensive to maintain.
The advert has appeared in the window of Harry Ray estate agents in Welshpool, but does not appear on the company’s web site.
The advert says that the block is a 3,000 sq.ft. building with “macadam and paved areas surrounding”.
It says there is no reserve price, only that it will be for sale by auction early in 2026 at the Town Hall. No precise date is given and there is no list of upcoming auctions on the company web site.
