MyWelshpool is now on TikTok!

Thousands of people have watched our MyWelshpoolTV report on the town hosting the 2027 Welsh leg of the Tour de France.

In the near 16 years that we have operated one of the UK’s most respected hyperlocal news sites, we have constantly tried to evolve to ensure that we are reaching everyone, so we have now launched our very own TikTok channel.

We have found that Facebook and X are tremendous ways of connecting with our readership over the years, and more than 20,000 people follow us through these channels.

With the launch of MyWelshpoolTV video news reports four years ago, we also launched a YouTube channel which provides a reference library for anyone to access online.

But by identifying that local news is struggling to engage with the next generation worldwide, we have launched MyWelshpoolTV TikTok channel to stay relevant and combat fake news and AI that is destroying the credibility of the news industry.
