A popular property auction regularly featuring land, housing and commercial premises from Mid Wales and Shropshire is to be featured on a national television programme later this year.
A crew from a Channel 5 programme looking at property refurbishment projects was at Morris, Marshall and Poole’s spring collective property auction in Welshpool last week.

Over £900,00 of property and land in Mid Wales and Shropshire was sold through the auction and one of the properties is likely to be featured on the yet to be named Channel 5 programme.
Over 150 people packed the property auction in Welshpool in which a range of lots including a Grade II house near Churchstoke, a hill near Llandinam, offices and flats for development in Newtown and a former chapel were sold.
“There was significant interest in the wide and varied property and land up for auction and we’re pleased at the sales realized.
“Bidding was competitive for a number of the properties with most selling for above the guide price,” said Robert Hudson, a partner at property surveyors, estate agents and auctioneers Morris, Marshall and Poole which organized the auction.
Properties sold included land at Salem Chapel at Trefnanney, near Welshpool, Melin y Wern at Bacheldre, near Churchstoke, land at Park Hall and a hill near Llandinam.
The next property auction will be held at Welshpool Livestock Sales in Welshpool in September.
