Take a peep at Neuadd Maldwyn plans

Clwyd Alyn and Powys County Council have released artist’s impressions of what some of the interior of the proposed extra care development will look like at Neuadd Maldwyn.

The scheme, which is due to go to a planning committee in January, is being developed by Clwyd Alyn in partnership with Powys County Council.

If approved, it will also provide a boost to local employment, creating up to 20 jobs.

The 66 one and two-bedroom apartments are designed for local people or people with close connections to Powys aged over 60 with an assessed care or support need.

The aim is to provide accommodation in the town which gives tenants their ‘own front door’ but with the reassurance of 24/7 support on site should they need it.
