Welshpool service station sells for nearly a million

A prominent service station investment in Welshpool has been sold off market by an award-winning commercial agency for £925,000 just 10 days after the company was instructed.

Applegreen Service Station on Salop Road has been sold by Shrewsbury-based Halls Commercial to a private property company. It is believed to have been on the market for some time but soon sold after Halls were handed the job.

James Evans, head of Halls Commercial, says the sale demonstrates the demand for strategically located, roadside property investment opportunities providing a return on capital and the value of the company’s established network of active buyers.
