Rotarians clearing up

As more of us emerge from the enforced Covid-19 restrictions, so, sadly, is the town’s litter problem.

This week, Welshpool Rotarians and a volunteer helper picked up four sacks of litter in one afternoon alone along a popular walkway and beauty spot. 

This litter was collected from the path leading from Mark's Autos to Tesco, and part of the car park environs and canal.

Meanwhile, rotarians, members of Inner Wheel, 41 Club and friends from other clubs joined Welshpool Rotary at their latest Wednesday night online session.

Baroness Jill Pitkeathley  (Deputy Speaker of the House of Lords) give an interesting presentation on her work.

On March 24, Jonathan Davies will talk about the history of W.R. Davies from 6.30pm. Members of the public wishing to join can contact club members for details.
