Have your say on local arts

Anyone wanting to have their say about local arts activities in the area are being invited to attend two online meetings this week.

Celf-Able is holding the meetings on Thursday and Friday as part of a bid for National Lottery funding.

“We are having two open meetings on Zoom, Thursday, May 27 at 7pm and Friday, May 28 at 2pm,” said Amanda Wells of the group.

“The theme of the project will be isolation and loneliness and how art can bring people together, both face-to-face and online, so please do come along to one of the meetings and share your views and ideas. For the Zoom link to join the meetings, please email admin@celf-able.org.

“We also welcome new members to the group, Wednesdays 11-1 on Zoom, we have some artist-led workshops at the moment, and from June 16 our regular social art sessions."

Email admin@celf-able.org for more details. Membership is £12 annually, but the first session is free. Or you can join a session as a one-off for £10 (Friends £5).

The group said it hopes to hold some face-to-face group meetings soon.
