Llanfair Ginny Beer Festival this weekend
Bars and live music featuring local acts will greet visitors at both stations, with an intensive timetable of steam and diesel trains running from October 14-16, starting at 11.00am from Llanfair Caereinion station.
Guest local beers will be available with the entry fee including a return trip on the train.
“Trains will run back and forth to Welshpool, where you will find an original GWR station, moved piece by piece fom Eardisley in Herefordshire,” a spokesperson told us.
“Most trains are expected to be steam, with Earl, an original locomotive dating from 1902 when the railway was formed, pulling the bulk of the traffic.”
