Denise’s 70th raises funds for two local organisations

Welshpool resident Denise Jones has made a lovely gesture to mark her 70^th birthday.

Denise held a party at The Talbot Inn in Welshpool and raised £500, which was split evenly between Welshpool Nurses and Marie Curie.

Denise said: “The Talbot were excellent and helped us raise this fantastic amount for two organisations which are very dear to my heart. I’d like to say a big thank you to all at the party for their very generous donations.”
