Nursery raises hundreds for ‘Life of Riley’

Nearly £800 has been raised through an open day held at the Little Acorns Day Nursery in Welshpool.

The event raised money for a charity that is close to the heart of the nursery’s Deputy Manager, Kerry Evans, whose nephew, Riley Evans, sadly died in 2023 after a courageous fight with Burkitt Lymphona, a rare and aggressive form of blood cancer.

The day was well supported and the nursery owner, Louise Smith, is pictured on the left with Kerry (middle) and Jayson Evans (Riley’s grandfather and Life of Riley charity trustee).
