Sheep are on the loose in Llanfyllin with a renowned street artist making his mark on the town.
However, it’s not Banksy, but another Bristol-based artist, Stewy, who has brought some urban street art to a rural setting to promote the town’s delightful art gallery, Awen.
The artist has painted and signed a number of sheep images at various different locations. They’re on the walls, a door and even lurking on the odd corner. And if you look carefully, there’s even a fox on the prowl.
“It was a bit of a fun way to raise a smile from those walking around the town. Stewy’s been great and the response from the local community has been very positive. I’m still keeping an eye on that fox, though!” said artist and curator, Brian Jones.
“Black Sheep” is showing at Awen until October 25.
